In 1995, JeRM Productions produced its second original play, And I Wish Campanella Wasn't Dead. Campanella was written by local playwright L. Robert Griffin and was the first play developed in the Washington area's Playwrights Forum to be produced by JeRM.
Among the positive reviews, Gail Repsher of the Georgetown Current remarked: "Campanella is full of great on-liners and pithy wisdom, making it a real pleasure to watch." She also noted that: "Griffin's script is well-written and benefits from the cast's considerable talents. It's a must see this summer."
