Mae shares her heartbreak with Tom, Livvy, and Nonny

In 1997, JeRM Productions continued its production of original new works with the play All I Could See by local playwright Nancy Nilsson. This autobiographical play tells the story of two crucial days in the life of a young Southern girl and her family in 1939. The story is about life and hard times, a mother's inability to love one child the same as another, and the sacrifice a father makes to keep his family together.
All I Could See was positively received by its audiences and critics and bolstered JeRM's commitment to the development of new works.
